I joined the study! What happens next?
We’ll send you the link to your 1st study survey! This lets us get started. If you haven’t heard anything within 24 hours, please check your spam (sometimes we get sorted there).

What does it mean to be randomized?
You’ll be randomly assigned (like the flip of a coin) to a group. We’ll let you know which group you’re in!
Group 1 = “Treatment group.” You’ll get access to FACT after your 1st survey.
Group 2 = “Control group.” You’ll get access after your last study survey.
How does the study compensation work?
You’ll be paid for each part of the study as you go along (instead of waiting until the end of the study). After you’ve completed a survey or interview, we will mail you a $20 Bank of America gift card. It may take a couple of weeks to arrive depending on the mail.
The card works like cash and instructions for using it are included in the envelope. Please note that your gift card will arrive in a blank white envelope, so please be on the lookout – it’s easily mistaken for a bill!
