About

UNC FACT Study

Cancer affects the entire family – including children. If you’re a parent with cancer, you’re not alone. 1 in 4 adults with cancer has children at home.

Help us test a new online tool to support parents and their kids.

What is FACT?

FACT stands for “Families Addressing Cancer Together” and is an online resource developed by collaborating with patients, family members, clinicians, and researchers.

FACT generates custom guidance for discussing cancer with children, tailored for your unique family and goals.
